Introducing the
2023 Ram TRX Tyrant Performance Packages.
For the 2023 model year, we're giving the TRX more performance and more capability. This upgrade gives the TRX a bump in horsepower to 787 hp and 702 foot-lbs of torque. Check the box for the 37” tire option and you'll receive the ultimate version of the Ram TRX.
Performance
We tested 2 Ram TRX trucks back to back, same day with the same conditions and saw some great results. Our TRX passed a quarter mile in .9 seconds less than a factory-stock truck. Running a 11.84 second quarter mile at 114 MPH. The stock TRX ran a 12.8 second quarter mile at 106 mph.

Who?
We wanted to complete this project with the most qualified team possible. In this search the decision became very clear. The TRX was co-developed with Aaron and his team at Nth Moto. Aaron grew up in a “Chrysler” family. His grandfather was a plant manager. His dad was a Chrysler employee. He grew up in metro Detroit and spent time on the Mopar Performance team. This gives Aaron the unique qualifications to mold factory OE type engineering with the best of the performance minded enthusiast. Nth Moto has developed the fastest Viper in the country exceeding over 3,000 wheel horsepower and completes the quarter mile in less than 7-seconds.
Why?
Certainly we aren't the first team to develop a higher horsepower package for the TRX. We set out with the goal to be the option to both retain a nationwide warranty (3 years/36,000 miles) and increase horsepower & capability. This project has gone through extensive Research & Development with over 1000 miles logged on the test vehicle over a 6-month period. Nth Moto's team tested this truck in cold weather, warm weather, while towing and more to make sure it was developed properly to handle the rigors our customers will put it through.
Pricing for the TRX Tyrant package is $8,995 and includes the 3 year and 36,000 mile warranty. The TRX 37” package is priced at $15,995. This pricing includes an exchange of the factory parts (including wheels & Tires) for the installed parts. If you'd like to keep the factory parts it would be an additional $2000 charge.
FAQs
How does the warranty work?
This performance package is offered with an industry leading 3 year and 36,000 mile extended warranty on the powertrain of the vehicle. This covers engine, transmission and drivetrain on the vehicle. The rest of the vehicle is covered under Ram's bumper-to-bumper warranty. This coverage is facilitated through a third party administrator, EGAssurance and is valid at any Stellantis dealership throughout the country.
Can I have this installed on my 2021 or 2022 TRX?
Yes, the process to install this performance package takes 4-5 business days. If you'd like us to upgrade your existing truck, we can do so and you can submit an inquiry to ram@grangermotors.com to schedule this service. The warranty is good for 3 years and 36,000 miles from the original in-service date of the truck, not the installed time.
What if Ram comes out with a PCM or TCM software update or recall?
With this upgrade package we are updating the software in both the Transmission control module and the Powertrain Control module from the factory Ram settings. You CANNOT flash the software to the latest factory version or the truck will not operate properly. If you have your truck maintained at a Stellantis dealership, it is your responsibility to make sure no flash updates are done to the vehicle.
Is this CARB Certified?
No, all emissions systems are still present in the vehicle and were not altered. We did not do any emissions testing and cannot guarantee that it would pass emissions.
